Home Grown Missionaries
These missionaries have all been a member of the Harmony Vineyard body for an extended time (sometimes their whole life!) prior to going into missions ministry. These special people are “home grown.”
Kuzaan and Clarien Van den Berg and family are Harmony’s newest “home grown” missionaries. The Van den Bergs are originally from South Africa but have served for the last 10 years in Bellarus and Finland. The Van den Bergs have been members of Harmony for about a year and are currently making plans to go to Estonia to join the ministry there. They will be helping at Tallin Vineyard Church and work with Kathy Miller in starting a home for unwed mothers in Tallin. You can contact the Van den Bergs at covenantmin@gmail.com.
Suzette Davis and Family — Suzette is a staff member of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Colorado Springs. She has been working as an apprentice to a midwife in Colorado Springs. She is hoping to bring a School of Midwifery to the Colorado Springs base and to take these trained professionals into the nations of the world.
Nathan and Jenna Fuller — The Fullers are staff members of Navigators on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo. Navigators is a campus ministry dedicated to leading young adults to Christ. Nathan and Jenna work with small groups within Navigators to help college students discover what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. They also participate in various college outreach programs.
Beth Meador — Beth Meador has completed her School of Biblical Studies with Youth With A Mission in Sweden and is now back in Kansas City. Beth served as one of the leaders for Harmony’s youth group missions trip to Costa Rica/Nicaragua. She is seeking God’s direction for her next step. While in the U.S., she is hoping to be able to teach Bible.
Amy Chizk is working with Enabling Missions Endeavors (EME Ministries) in Athens, Greece. During the school year, she teaches at the Glyfada Christian Academy, which uses a homeschool curriculum to reach a mostly Muslim immigrant and refugee population. During the off-season, Amy also works in the office performing administrative duties, as well as support for various projects, including writing study guides for books written by other staff members. Future projects may include writing curriculums and assisting with the Vision International University, which EME also facilitates. More information about these ministries can be found on the Web at www.emeministries.org.
